Myanmar Excellent Stars Maritime Training Centre (MES-MTC) was established in 2013, and has since built a solid reputation for the training of seafarers with approval from the Department of Marine Administration (DMA). MES-MTC provide STCW courses and other customized courses for seafarers.

MES-MTC founded a new entity named Excellent Trade Wind Maritime, Oil and Gas Training Institute (ETW). ETW specializes in providing a range of client focused safety training services and products to the offshore oil and gas industry.\u00a0

ETW is working closely with SMTC Global Group as quality and technical advisor.

We are an OPITO-approved Training & Assessment Centre. We are in the process of obtaining our Quality Management Standard ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Full course fee, in bank draft or crossed cheque payable to ETW, must be paid before a course is due to start.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Course Cancellation<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Note that the full fee is charged if a cancellation is received less than 3 working days before a course is due to start. For block booking, 50% of the full course fee will be charged for cancellations received less than 7 working days before the course. However, substitutions are welcome at any time.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A certificate and an ID card are issued to each course participant who passes \/ completes the course satisfactorily.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Safety & Health Personal Passport<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Safety and Health Personal Passport will be updated and stamped on completion of the course.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Personal Protective Clothing<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Course participants must bring their personal protective clothing as specified in the course joining instructions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For most of the courses, participants need a high standard of physical fitness and be free from any respiratory disorder and heart disease. Therefore, a valid medical certificate is compulsory.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
